WSCV Telemundo 51 celebrated the results of the just completed February sweeps rating period by saying goodbye to its current news studio. Construction of the stations new studio will begin immediately and will be unveiled to South Florida viewers in a few weeks. The new studio has been designed by the Jack Morton PDG firm.We are very excited to be holding this celebration which marks eleven consecutive months of great ratings successes for our 11pm newscast. Since April 2013 Telemundo Noticiero 51 has regularly been ranked #1 among all M-F 11pm newscasts in South Florida in the key demographic age groups of Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, and a new state of the art studio will further enhance our product and will also better showcase the extraordinary performance of our news anchors, reporters and crew, said Jorge Carballo, Telemundo 51 president and general manager.Telemundo 51s primetime programming (M-Sa 8pm-11pm / Sun 7pm-11pm) also achieved the top rated position among all television stations in South Florida for the fifth consecutive month, in the key demographic group of Adults 18-49, totally dominating the market regardless of language.
